the media feeds off of stereotypes and generalizing..whatever image the public will respond to the most- they will promote that image. its kind of like the dumb rich blonde, the poor loud illegal hispanics, the smart but driver-challenged strict asian immigrants, the jewish bankers with money, the terrorist middle eastern asian muslim....the media portrays A LOT of stereotypes particularly targeting minorities..

I do not know what media you are watching but you need to learn to change that channel, as well as look at the screen
