Gravity holds the Earth together, so the aliens would have to send a very big bomb to the center of the earth to blow it apart. Then you would go flying into space on the piece of continental crust that you were stanging on when it happened.

That's a question that depends on the type of alien destruction device. If the Earth explodes catastropically with one bomb/laser/meteor/black hole, then I doubt we'd feel anything but the slow and inexorable death we already feel from a diet high in saturated fats, cholesterol, and phenolalymines. We might notice a strange whistling noise as a large vaccum encompasses us when the earth suddenly leaves reality, and we are thrust into the netherworld of destruction. Ia Ia Ftaghn!

what speed was the missile (I asume its a missile) going at; if its the speed of light, no we would have a clue. a little bit slower we probably wouldnt spot it. even if we did there is little we could do (its not like in deep impact)
when the earth went caboom the huge amount of heat would probably just vaporise us, a probably painless (no-one has survived:P) way to go. i doubt we'd notice
