I try not to give up, but when you're clutching onto something so tightly that it becomes painful...releasing is oftentimes far more advantageous.

I know when I should give up but I never do. If I give up then it is just like saying well I know I cant do it so why should I try. The way I see it giving up is like wasting all the hard work I already put into something.

I usually give up too quickly. I can't stand the thought of failure. Just the hint of me about to fail at something makes me want to quit it first. Ironically enough, quitting is failure. I just fail to recognize that at the heat of the moment.
But yes, I do think that if it's not worth it, all one has to do is let it go. Usually, that generates some type of revelation.

I know when it's time to finally make a stand, and I make it in my own ways...I've let things go before that perhaps I shouldn't have, and now I am where I am in life. The paradox comes about when I realize what I know about myself now because of those choices I thought were wrong at first. Funny how it works that way.....

Sometimes the lesson is in how much you work for something. If you give up on things most of the time, how will you ever know, if you quit too soon.
