I've usually always felt fairly attractive my whole life, but lately I've felt like unless everyone thinks I am - theres no point. How do you get to a point where you can go through all sorts of daily activities without always thinking do I look my best - and not being devastated if you dont?

I read somewhere that women are so used to being objectified, that they wonder if people are looking at them all the time. Rather than focusing on what they are doing, they are wondering: "do I look appropriate?" It has to do with imagery and how people see the world. I often do the same that you are doing: do I look ok. I still can't get over the fact that my schnoz is a little big, although I am way better about it than I used to be. So, to be honest with you. There is no real way to get over it, unless you are confident in yourself. You have to just get over it, and realize that people will judge you no matter what you look like. And if you want to be above that person, then you have to think that you are gourgeous no matter what. Look at celebrities. A lot of people think Angelina Jolie is hot, but now they think she is too skinny and that makes her look bad. it's like nobody is ever satisfied and they just need something to talk about. My advice, go without make-up sometimes. What are people going to do? Yell at you for not wearing concealer. just be happy with yourself and don't let your looks become an obsession

I'm overweight and not the most attractive guy in the world, so as you can guess, high school isn't really that fun for me. Since then I've learned three things.

1. Why do you care? Who are these people who are judging you, and why do you really care about what they think about your looks? If they're not the sort of person who judges you based on your actions, beliefs, intelligence and words, do you really care what they think of you?

2. Get good friends. If you've got friends who have an issue with the way you look, they're not really friends, get better ones.

3. Get some confidence. Find your strengths, whether they're intelligence, morality, good verbal skills, whatever, and concentrate on those rather than what you look like.

Well, here's how I think. I used to be very conscious of my looks when I would get a fever blister on my lips. The truth is, unless I'm looking in the mirror, I can't see it. So why am I so conscious of it when the burden of how it looks and the reaction to it falls on the person looking at it? And as far as your question of acceptance. You have to compliment and continue to drive yourself to succeed. Working out and proper grooming will take care of the aesthetics, but success won't be measured by your looks. It will be based off a strong internal ego that will take you from 25 to 100.

wel, you probably know this..looks don't make up the whole person ..it's really the content of your character that gets you in places in life. Just try to look at good looks as the icing on the cake that you feel provides u that much needed confidence. But the true confidence comes from the satification of knowing who you are and your potential. The problem is not everyone thinks that way and it cannot be enforced. Life is tough isn't it?.. and we are guilty of making ours that complicated.

in case you actually truly ought to i'd say attempt to regulate ur form or the way you look and per chance you'll finally end up accepting your self, yet easily atleast attempt to discover some thing in urself that you actually like case in point eyes or hair or some thing and that provides you a self assurance advance! bear in options that maximum of the gorgeous ladies have makeup on and gown in a particular way that compliments their body or get a hair shrink that still works for them, so in case you actually ought to attempt this you should yet im particular you've no longer some thing to agonize about!

Take my advice.....................is from experience!!!

go find out how many people are in the world...........if you think that you are not attractive stop living boring and go out and have fun!!! Travel to other countries and do things you have not tried before.................no matter where you go, if you are really fun and funny you will get a woman to be with even if it is a night stand and keep track!!!

One day you will wake up wishing you didn't follow my advice and trying to be a loner and antisocial person or wondering if there is a way for your penis to have a vacation!!!!

You just have to learn to be comfortable with yourself. There are days where I feel like dressing up and looking great and others when i put my hair up with jeans and a sweat shirt. Your true friends won't treat you any different on sweatshirt days, but it is unavoidable that the guys notice you more when you try your best to look great. You have to learn to do things for yourself and not worry about others.

Inner confidence. Also, get yourself to a point where you know that you don't have to impress anybody if you don't want to. Be comfortable with yourself. No one on gods green earth is perfect - even the movie stars have to fake their beauty. Real beauty is confidence in yourself and an inner strength that NO ONE can touch.

Stop wearing makeup and going to lengths to try and make yourself attractive and gradually accept what's underneath, your natural beauty.
Even if you don't feel your best, it's one less thing to worry about and depress you.
Just wear a smile and get involved in other things to take your mind of your apperance. Learn to love yourself. I know it's hard, but it's so important.
Good luck x
