I'm looking for circumstantial evidence where forensic testing for gunshot residue has been thrown out of court. I've searched everywhere and can't find anything. Thanks a lot!

Then why did the FBI stop all testing of GSR in their labs? I don't know, maybe it holds up pretty well.

I can't think of a reason it would be thrown out. GSR is not circumstantial evidence. It is direct evidence. The only way it could be thrown out is if the evidence was obtained illegally, and that would be rare, if ever.
