You can appeal to the Federal District court. You cannot go directly to the US Supreme Court. But unless there is a compelling federal issue at state such as a constitutional violation by the state courts it is hopeless.

Usually nothing. Unless the ruling involves some question of the Federal Constitution or statutes, thats probably the end of things. If it does involve a Federal matter, then you can attempt to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, and your odds of the Court granting a writ and even hearing it are about 1 in 10000.
