It seems to me I'm the only one left on the planet Earth who loves girls sporting cute unpierced earlobes.
I'm 30 years old, I can still remember that until a couple of decades ago ear piercing was a sort of fashion taboo for most women. Year after year the earring fashion became a commonplace.
It's a pity to state that nowadays ear piercing is a rite of passage for any schoolgirl. As far as I can remember only a few out of my female schoolmates had their ears pierced at such young age.
Now you can turn your eyes and see everywhere so many pretty girls looking ugly due to massive body piercings and tattoo... it's a pity to waste beauty this way.
Unpierced girls are so rare but... oh, so beautyful!
Does anyone agree (or disagree) with me?

My standpoint about pierced or unperced ears is merely a matter of aesthetics and personal taste, nothing to do with moral or ideological issues.
Even though I absolutely love the natural beauty of those girls who preserved their ears unpierced I've got nothing against people who decide to get ears (or even something else) pierced. When my girlfiend decided to have her ears done a few years ago I agreed she had a good reason to do it: she needed to poke holes in her lobes to wear a nice pair of earrings she inherited from her beloved granny. No doubt it's been something meaningful for her, far more than a simple fashion statement.

There was a time when I believed that too but few years ago I had my ears pierced because I wanted to do it and many girls had their ears pierced... moreover what you find cute and glamorous is maybe not for another person.

When I was born, my grandparents wanted to pierce my ears for some cultural believes. But my mom didn't agree with them to do that, because she thought the same way as you did, that girls with unpierced ears are glamourous and elegant. But then, when I grew up, I recognized that girls with pierced ears are cute and feminine. Especially when they get married, they need to have some sort of holes in their ears to wear a pair of earings which is a gift from the in-laws. I kept on asking my mom to allow me to have my ears pierced...until I was 14, she took me to a clinic and to have my ears done by a certified nurse in my country, Vietnam, because she thought it would be clean and safe from AIDS...Now, I don't regret at all. If you choose some gheto earings, they will make you look ugly and gheto. But if you have a good taste and know which ones are suitable for you, they will make you look more elegant and glamorous. Sometimes, I just take them off and not wearing any earings to be simple and active, but remember to put them back on because the holes will be gone if I don't wear them for a while. Having pierced ears is what special for a girl, and it will improve her beauty and confidence when it's used in a right way.

Well my auntie took me to get mine pierced when I was 2, and I love earrings, so it's never occured to me to question them... but it's really strange if you think about it, walking around with things hanging off our ears. Hmmm.
