Absolutely not. Matt Holliday is your best outfielder by far. Your starters are already good enough, adding Peavy will probably just be overkill. As for Adam Dunn, he is so overrated. He hit 45 home runs, but Holliday is a lot better as far as RBI's and average (Dunn hit .234, which is god-awful and unacceptable on a fantasy roster as far as I'm concerned). And if your league gives you points for not striking out, Adam Dunn is poison. So don't do it.

It would be a terrible mistake on your part. Holliday is a premier outfielder just entering his prime and will put up monster numbers this season, Dunn will hit homers and kill you with that horrendous batting average. Chris Young is practically at Peavys level right now, the kid has electric stuff and will only improve and peavy is an injury risk. You would get Peavys impressive strikeout numbers (215 in 202 innings) but you also have to live with his 4.09 ERA and 1.23 WHIP (although that is a very good whip) but Young had 164 Ks in 179 innings and had a much better 3.46 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP. So you end up with what amounts to a wash at the pitching position and you give up an elite outfielder for someone who i would consider only as a bench player personally, there are too many other good power hitting options that wont brutalize your team batting average. Save yourself some grief, the season is too long for you to keep kicking yourself if you make this deal.

Your starting pitching looks stronger than your outfield. Chris Young will do better than Jake Peavy and Matt Holiday will do better than Adam Dunn. Don't no do this trade. Your team looks fine.

decline that trade and see if he will take drew or ordonez. Matt Holliday is kinda unpredictable like all the other rockie players. Holliday might put up 20 to 30 homers with a good average. Adam Dunn, will probably hit like 35 to 45 homers with a terrible average. Its your choice though, you might have to give up holliday to get peavy.

it is a detrimental mistake on your area. Holliday is a optimal outfielder only getting into his suitable and ought to placed up monster numbers this season, Dunn will hit homers and kill you with that horrendous batting undemanding. Chris youthful is virtually at Peavys factor maximum surprising now, the toddler has electric powered stuff and ought to basically improve and peavy is an harm threat. you're arranged to get Peavys wonderful strikeout numbers (215 in 202 innings) yet you to boot to mght ought to desire to stay which comprise his 4.09 era and one million.23 WHIP (to boot the actuality that it extremely is an particularly stable whip) yet youthful had 164 Ks in 179 innings and had a plenty extra suitable appropriate 3.forty six era and a one million.13 WHIP. so which you land up with what parts to a wash on the pitching place and additionally you furnish up an elite outfielder for somebody who i ought to evaluate basically as a bench participant in my opinion, there are too many distinctive stable skill hitting concepts that wont brutalize your team batting undemanding. shop your self some grief, the season is only too long which you will shield kicking your self as quickly as you're making this deal.

I would not. Young is going to be pretty decent. Not as good as peavy but a good 2nd option. Dunn thou is good in homers decent in RBi's but an absolute killer in your Avg. Holiday will get the same number of Homers, More Rbi's and more runs with SB and give you a good boost to your Average.
So the trade isnt worth it.. Keep young and Holiday

No, because Holliday will hit around .300 with 40 HRs, but Dunn will hit around .240 with 40 HRs. That will kill you, even if Peavy will help somewhat.
