To put it simply, for a budget build go with AMD, if you have the money, its Intel Core 2 Duo. Since the release of Core 2, AMD prices have dropped considerably. With $200 i recommend these.

Keep in mind this Mobo supports newer DDR2 800 RAM, and has a PCIe slot for video. So if your Video Card is AGP, or your RAM the older DDR 400, they wont be compatlible.

i wouldn't. $200 isn't enough to get a decent motherboard and cpu to play games on, you need at least $250-300 for the cpu alone, and about $50 for the motherboard if you want your computer to be any decent at all.

you can buy a 1 gig processer and motherboard for 50 to 60 bucks and that is really all youd need to play those games.
