I'd rather have the really devoted, loyal, loving, respectful wife.
Becuase I love her enough that I don't need anyone else.
I would not like going through life being with different women, I think it could get confusing, and I need consistancy.
Inconsistancy breeds chaos.
I'm happy being with my wife, she's loving and respectful, and I fell in love with her and when I chose her I chose the woman I wantet to settle down with and spend the rest of my life with.

This is an interesting question because it can go both ways.
Men love sex and variety, however, they also like to have someone special that is pure and that they can have to themselves. I guess it all depends on what stage in their life a man is at. People are different, because some men will sleep around with different women and not care at all, and of course keep that from them so they can have their cake and eat it too. If I am seeing a guy, and sleeping with him, then, he better not be playing with anyone else, or I am gone. So, in that sense, quality is much more important than quantity.

Well, I'm married and overall, I'm satisfied. When I was single years ago, I dated A LOT but I always knew that one day I wanted to settle down, get married, have kids, the whole 9 yards. All those girls I went through before I met my wife was kind of like trying on a bunch of shoes and you're looking for just the right fit. Well, I found my fit and I stuck with her.
Those other girls, most of them were nice and there were one or two that I really liked a lot but they didn't quite measure up.
I guess it all depends on what you're looking for in the long term. Me, I always knew that I wanted to settle down. Some guys don't want to settle down.

I would like to be really devoted to one women who i could talk to and understand each other and I would undersand we would go throught argument. There is a reason there are two sexes and sometimes ppl of the saem sex cant help you get through stuff and you need someone else who will always be there for you.
That made no sense but i hope you get it.
pretty much i dont think women are ex toys and they should be treated as equaly as i or anyone else does.

there are two entities "within the men"; civilized and primordial (caveman)...want ?...civil man is conditioned from birth to seek and (hopfully) reciprocate devotion and love. they want to want what they think their suppose to want, loyal monogamous devotion...yada...but raw primordial instincts stir deep within the (primitive) man, when impregnating as many (cave)women as possible, [to ensure his offspring will be many thus assuring his gene better chance of survival] literally was the difference between survival of man or the death of man..we'll keep this paleo wisdom between us. if the guys find this out they will be using it for an excuse for acting like animals......on the flip side primordial woman would encourage multiple imprecating partners ensuring confusion of off springs paternity (father)...then all potential fathers would feed and protect this new baby because it could be his....in a word (s)life is based on the decisions we all make. be true to yourself and this will attract love and respect...

I would prefer the former. I'd have to say I'd want that because ... well the other option is just sad, you know? It's like you're chasing real love, and in the first option you have a chance at developing real love.
My definition for the love question was basically looking out for the others needs and wants before your own.
