It really depends on the agar you are making. Generally, it says how much per liter to use somewhere on the container.
For the type of LB agar that I use, it is 18.26 grams per liter. I don't think this number will help you much, unless it is a last resort. Try looking on the bottle again, or doing a search for your brand of agar.

I thought 1% w:v was the standard, but maybe that is for molecular biology gels.
