It ends with the man being in a physchological test and he's imagining it. It does not star a lady, only him.

I think it's called The Last Man on Earth

Actually, I take that back. It was the first episode ever aired, and it is called "Where is everybody?"

Yes. I've seen most of the episodes. The one you're talking about is the pilot called "Where Is Everybody." This is one of my all time favorite shows! Rod Serling was an awesome writer. I still catch the reruns on SciFi sometimes. (It only comes on at 1 in the morning!) But I watch their 4th of July and New Years marathons. I couldn't pick a favorite but I love "Would The Real Martian Please Stand Up?" I love the ending!
