I immediately think of the Cristal (prounced the same) champagne that all the rappers drink and pour all over the floor in their videos to show off how rich they are now. It's also a popular stripper name, for the association I just mentioned. An expensive pleasure desired by the low on good taste/high on cash nuevo riche.
