no it's because i cant afford the plastic Mr. potato head and so i have to pluck out the eyes of my real potato in order to insert the paper ears and nose i made for it!

Nah...I just find that it's a 'hard bit' on a baked potatoe so I just remove them prior to baking.

No, I like to let my pototoes see the sights before I eat them. I only remove the eyes when they are about to be cooked. :)
Do you put your ears of corn in the fridge so they can't hear you? :)
