what exactly gets done when u get the anti-d prophylaxis at 28weeks is it in the arm u get the jag?
i ahve been told 2 get it because i am rephus negative which i am going 2 get soon because i am only 17weeks just now but just wondering where abouts it gets done and do u feel sick or something after it?

plz serious answers only

the only thing i could think of is that you're RH negative...which means your blood type is negative, while the baby is positive. if you dont get the shot, the anti bodies in your system will attack your baby and try to get rid of it, b/c it thinks the positive blood is foreign. i'm RH negative and i have to get the same shots.

Isn't it just a shot? I think it would depend on your body as to where you'd get it. I don't know what "get the jag" means, though...
