20 September 2251.
Moon, Mars, Pluto in Scorpius
Uranus in Capricorn (not Sagittarius)
Jupiter and Neptune in Cancer

It might mean your almanac is wrong. Jupiter and Neptune are together, but they are not in Capricorn. They are both in Cancer... Ah, I see. Your book put Jupiter and Neptune 180 degrees in ecliptic longitude from their actual positions on that date. The author might have tried to correct a mean anomaly to the interval [0,2pi) by adding integer multiples of pi and by bad luck got it in the bracket on an odd count. He should be chastised.

Retrograde is simply the term to describe how planets farther from the sun than the earth appear to move in the sky.
Picture looking down on the solar system from above, and the earth and one of the outer planets at 12 o'clock. Now set them moving. The earth moves faster since its closer to the sun, so it pulls ahead. It appears in our sky that the other planet is moving "backwards" compared to the stars.
Now the earth goes around the sun and comes around the other side and the other planet appears to be "ahead" of us.
The other planet appears to make a little "loop" in the sky as our perspective angle changes as we both orbit the sun.

By the way, the constellation it happens in will change over time, they don't have any bearing on the solar system orbits.

Retrograde means moving in the opposite direction.
Planets alway move in the same direction, but our
relative view at a given point makes them appear to be
moving in the opposite direction.

Supposing you are driving a car. Another car is also
travelling in the same direcion. If the speed of your car
is slightly more than that of the other, the other car appears
to be going 'backward' compared to you.

The Sun and the Moon never appear to go retrograde.

"A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac."

retrograde means they're spinning in the wrong direction. (right to left) and it's wrong. Only venus is in retrograde.

Pluto's not a planet anymore.

It doesn't mean anything. Astrology is completely fake - made up!
