does any1 no the opposite of opposite? My stupid english teacher gave it to us for a bonus, and she changed it last minute to a test grade!!!!! COUNTING TWICE!!! shes not cool......

Well the easy answer would be "the same" as others have mentioned.
Unless your teacher meant "what is the opposite of AN opposite?" which of course would be another opposite.

Also - there is no such thing as an independant opposite. Each thing or idea can only be understood in relation to other things and ideas. Example - if you were never cold, then you wouldn't know what hot is.
If you never saw beauty, then you'd never know ugly.

(I'm not sure what grade you're in... This point is more geared for college philosophy instructors)
