No. There are a few cumulative events that are easy to pick up on from one season to the next. For example; in one season Carla and Turk are engaged, the next they're married, and subsequently they're having a baby. A lot of changes are natural progressions kinda like that.
Comedy Central is the best place for Scrubs. They show it ALL THE TIME (a good thing in my opinion!) CC will catch you up fairly quickly, though they're a season or two behind.
NBC always has the new stuff.
I have no idea what the third channel could be.

No, Scrubs is a show that doesn't carry anything over from previous episodes, except of course the characters. It is nothing like a soap opera and is actually quite funny. The best channel to watch it on is Comedy Central, this channel has it on ever day. You can watch it any time you want and still understand it.

I recently started watching scrubs on wgn at 10pm, they go in order and play 2 episodes a night. After a few episodes you do start to understand most of the continuous jokes (like how the janitor ALWAYS makes life hell for JD) But then I borrowed seasons 1-4 from my friend and some other stuff started making sense. Season 7 is on NBC on Thursday nights right now.

Yes and no. There seems to be a different storyline with each episode, but there are also storylines from other episodes that they talk about or are continued. They play the repeats on USA Network. I try to watch Scrubs, but it is hard because I work, but I catch it every once in a while and I understand what is going on.

Well, I watch it with my dad and we started watching about half-way through the second series. Sure, you understand it a lot better if you've seen it from the beginning (we now have all the DVDs!), but after a couple of episodes (not necessarily in order, though it helps) you understand it enough!
But it's funny all the time!

You dont REALLY have to have watched every single episode to understand what's going on. When new things have changed in the show, they usually mention it just in case you didnt see past episodes. It's very funny anyway, even if you have no idea whats going on.

like any decent show, they make references to the past,,, the series dies move on each episode. UI combatted this problem by watching it on syndication,,, sometimes they have the marathons opn the weekeds, and will show episodes in sequence, I found I caught up with everything pretty quickly.

It's not known for it's plot, or at least that's not why I watch it. In fact some of the "emotional" plot elements are a bit painful...
It's syndicated on Comedy Central :)
