I believe you can right click on the picture, click "format" and then a menu should come up where you can change the layout of the picture to be in line with the text, behind the text, etc. This should help.
If that doesn't work, I would insert a text box next to the picture and type the text in the text box. To get rid of the lines around the text box, click inside the box, then right click on one of the lines of the box, click "format text box" and then a menu should come up where you see "Line: color" click the color to get a drop-down menu where you can select "no line." Click on "no line" and the lines will go away.

well first u have to change the text wrapping of the picture. Make the 'picture' toolbar show, and then change the text wrapping to tight or thruogh or waateva you want. Another way is to create a textbox next to it, which should be in like View or Format in the standard toolbar....im not too sure. Then u can format the textbox...

Change the layout to "tight."
Right-click, format picture, layout tab, then click tight. This keeps the text tight around the picture. You could also pick square in you wanted to...whatever looks best.
