me and my husband r trying to have a baby. but its jus not happening! when is the best time to get pregnant? my period is from the 14th-19th. if that helps with counting days!

The best time to get pregnant is about 2 years after the kids go off to college and you finally hit the lotto LOL
Seriously though, There's no real way to know from what you've told us. The only way to REALLY know when you ovulate is to chart your cycles with basal body temping and cervical fluid checks...you can take a guess, but you could be doing yourself in that way. For example, if I used the general rule of every woman has a 28 day cycle and ovulates on day 14, I wouldn't have any kids...EVER. My cycle is always 30-32 days long and I always ovulate 7-10 measly days before I expect my period. Using the day 14 rule I'd miss it every time, but since I chart, I have 4 children and maybe...... I highly recommend you read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and/or use the website http://www.fertilityfriend.com to help you on your journey. Good luck!

You need to determine when you ovulate. Most women ovulate 14 days before their next expected period. However, I ovulate on day 9 and so my husband and I kept missing the boat, so to say. I'd suggest investing in a Clear Blue Easy ovulation monitor or getting some disposable ovulation sticks which are available at most drug stores. Good luck honey.

the 14th is day one and a normal cycle is 28 days so you are most fertile days 13-19 of your cycle (the 26th for 6 days)

the best time to try to get pregnant is when you are in your ovulation peroid that is when you are the most fertile you should start on the 25-3 of april good luck
