Omg. I am in 8th grade and i havent started puberty yet, or my period. whats going on ??? All of my other friends started their period and puberty at 9 or 10 years old !! what is going on i am getting a bit worried like i am not mature yet. I dont have any boobs either ! WHAT IS GOING ON ! HELP !

Everyone developes at thier own pace. My daughter is also in the 8th grade and while she has started puberty in many aspects...period, body hair, etc. she still hasn't developed much up top. Do not worry you will probably go through it all over the summer which if you ask me is a blessing. That way you won't have any "embarrassing" moments at school. If this continues to concern you ask your mom at what age she went through puberty. A lot of times your cycle will be about what your mom's was. And if she feels your concerns are valid then she can contact your Dr about it.

Don't worry - there is a big range - 8/18 in reaching puberty. Just take your time and wait for it to happen. Are there any indications that it is close such as hair starting or sensitive nipples?
