yellow line at startup?!?! not good?

ive got an hp pavillion dv9205 laptop running vista premium and when i restarted it, before it went to the login screen, it paused on a black screen with a thick yellow line running vertically down the left side of the screen! wtf is that. it was there for about 8 seconds and then continued to the logon screen. anyone ever seen this before?

Hi. If this was your start after loading Vista it may have been loading the monitor drivers. I've never seen a yellow stripe but have often seen random streaks during boot up.
