I recently bought an iPod Shuffle from Target (because I'm such a cheapo XP) and until now the right earphone is having problems. The volume is so low that I pretty much have to put it on full blast to hear it (but the left earphone is completely fine). This probably happened because I was scuffing my feet on carpet and it shocked me through my earphones. >_>;

Is there a way to fix it or should I just replace it?

I would get a new pair of ear-/head-phones. My experience with the iPod headphones is that they are of quite low quality and crap out pretty easily. Wal-Mart sells a great pair of Phillips behind-the-head headphones. They're really great and you don't have to turn the volume way up to hear well; about $15.

I have the same problem. I don't know how it happened but now the right ear bud really lags out on the bass. I just replaced it. There are some good earphones for low prices. I don't recommend the iPod earphones that they sell at Target because they are really overpriced.

i do no longer want to sound rude yet it is almost a duh question. maximum of people lose their headphones, if Apple made you purchase an entire new iPod they might lose maximum of clientele. of direction you need to purchase new ones. they're approximately $30
