There are many topics you can talk about. For example, some people don't think the writer that we know as William Shakespeare was really William Shakespeare--you can find a lot of interesting information about this topic. Another could be about how Shakespeare actually made up new words which were added to the English language. There are also more facets that you can talk about but these are the interesting ones that I know of.

I have several ideas! Since I'm studying about Shakespeare in school, you may want to write about:

Romeo and Juilet
Hamlet
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Twelfth Night
Macbeth
Othello

By the way, good luck on your report! Hope that helps!

How about Shakespeare & the Globe theater? His company got evicted from the land where their old theater was, so, in the dead of night, they tore done the old theater & re-built it across the river and called it the Globe. Their old landlord was mad! A few years later, the Globe burned down. I think Shakespeare burned it deliberately but that's just my theory. See my essay at http://academia.wikia.com/wiki/How_Henry%27s_Divorce_Led_to_Global_Warming. Warning: the parts of my essay that are in italics are pure speculation on my part. The rest is accepted history. Please don't use the italicized parts without giving me credit (otherwise your teacher will blame you for my crazy theories).
