It depends on your own philosophy and theology. I believe God is the creator. He was before us. I don't believe he is in everything (pantheism), nor do I believe we are all gods. I'm not sure I understand what you mean be God being a third party if he is Creator. You're asking a pretty big question. It's one I'm still investigating myself. That's where I'm at so far, in an extremely brief description.

Conceptions of God can vary widely, despite the use of the same term for them all. Theologians and philosophers have studied countless conceptions of God since the dawn of civilization. The Abrahamic conceptions of God include the trinitarian view of Christians, the Kabbalistic definition of Jewish mysticism, and the Islamic concept of God. The dharmic religions differ in their view of the divine, ranging from the almost polytheistic view of God in Hinduism to the almost non-theist view of God in Buddhism. In modern times, some more abstract concepts have been developed, such as process theology and open theism.

okay, so yea this whole thing is super confusing!! but here's my point of view. God is/was the beginning/origin and creator. We as humans are created in His image. we are made to be like Him and as we grow spiritually we become more like Him. but we will never be a god or perfect like He is because we are human and because we were created by Him.

I see you've decided there are only two acceptable alternatives and neither one happens to be the truth.

we are the witness, not seperate, but not truly one with "god" as you would put it. there is no origin, only endless infinity. Watch now as you witness what happens....

Neither. We evolved. Superstition has nothing to do with the way cells mutate.
