I'm going through EXACTLY the same thing at the moment.

You'd think it would be easier for them to find some other 'booty call', wouldn't you. Without stirring up all the drama associated with previous relationships.

I'm afraid - just like MY ex is doing - that he really is only interested in sex. Especially since he said you guys are better of friends. Like I say to myself when this happens, if he TRULY wanted to be with you, he'd move heaven and earth to make it happen.

Tell him that you won't be his whore, no matter how hard you find it, and see what happens. If he wants more than just sex with you, he'll make it happen. If he doesn't, then you are better off without him back in your life.

Since he made it clear that he thinks you are better off as friends I would say he's enjoying the sex as a friends with benefits deal. If you're not okay with that then don't sleep with him anymore, even if it's hard because you still have feelings for him. But really, it's not good for you to sleep with him even just as friends. You have so much history together that it would hurt and probably escalate into a big deal even though you'll be in denial. Then all you'll have left when you think about him are bad memories instead of the good ones that you made in those 7 years.

You should ask if the feelings are mutual but it honestly doesn't seem like they are. If he says you are better off as friends, he probably means it. I'd say stop having sex with him until you talk to him about it, or if you don't want to talk about it then stop the sex all thogether. Sex with an ex is great for the physical but not the mental. Look out for number one and stop being physical with this guy until everything is figured out. Good luck
