Thinking about getting one, not sure. Is it true the boost your bust? I know they narrow your waist. What are the pros and cons?

I'm small busted, so would a Corset be of any benifet or do you think they are for more bustier women?

wow, i never thought there were any pros to those things- have you ever worn one? they're so uncomfortable!! you can't breathe normally, and i'm sure they restrict your circulation. you say you're thinking of getting one... i hope you mean for a special dress or something, and not for regular use! and in that case, go to a good store where you can be properly fitted, to avoid major discomfort. i'm not exactly the bra-burning type, but i'd gladly burn a corset!! ;)

Pros
- Clinches your waist
- Makes your figure look alot more smooth
- You can get really gorgeous ones
Cons
- If you haven't got a very big bust it'll just press it down and make it appear flatter
- A good one can cost ALOT
- If you it too tight and wear it often then there's a slight chance that health complications can occur and can even start to rearrange your organs (But that's verrry unlikely)
- It's hard to decide where to wear a corset. They feel a bit formal in casual situations. They feel a bit revealing in formal situations. t's nice just to wear them at home and look at yourself in the mirror though =]

The corset, uncomfortable though it may be, can be a godsend for girls with a bigger chest. It cinches your waist and helps smooth your silhouette, but also boosts the chest and supports it better than just a strapless bra. It's good for strapless styles (I'll be wearing one under my bridesmaid dress in my friend's wedding this summer).

Pretty much you already answered yourself that's all they really do. They minimize your waist making it seem as if your breast are fuller and larger.
