Movie star is complicated to get right away; and I don't know if you heard, but joining the military at the moment is likely to get you killed in the middle of a desert (and not even the good way, like owing huge amounts of gambling debts to the mob--at least you had the fun of gambling first). And Burger King has an unholy smell just in the front, I can't imagine what it is like in the back.

I would suggest finding a bathroom attendant job in a very nice restaurant. When a celebrity comes in, you have a couple of options there. You can give him a script to read (I doubt it will work but who knows); or you can "accidentally" forget to stock the toilet paper and then when he is trapped, turn on the tape recorder and have a camera ready and find out every bit of dirt you can on all his celebrity friends. Afterwards sell everything to the National Enquirer and make you some of that sweet papparazzi dough.

Since becoming a movie star is a risky career path, and the other two careers involve killing people, I'd consider continuing my education.

If you are 16-24 years of age, consider the Job Corp program. This is a federally funded program that allows you to learn a nonlethal profession while getting room and board. You even get a small allowance for miscellaneous expenses.

In regards to Burger King, I figure you dread ever having
to work fast food again. Go find a position that meshes
with your values, passions, and drive to make it.

Burger King or Marshall's is a Job. Being in the medical field,
military, politics, or acting that is a vocation. This life is about
growth and discovery. It is not about doing the same bloody thing you cant stand. Have faith in a higher power and yourself. Don't be discouraged by problems and obstacles, those are opportunities in disguise. I wish you the best in
your dreams. Be Good!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, you'll probably never get very far in life working for BK. Can you act? Only a few ever get rich acting. However, with the military you will know up front what is expected of you and what to expect in return. The pay isn't great and the benefits stink, but service to your country shouldn't be easy right. There is the pride of having accomplished something worthwhile.

you should develop into an MP. truly, an MP is a police officer, sure there's a distinction in the sorts of calls you'll bypass to, yet this can be an superb commencing position for a civillian occupation in regulation enforcement. i take advantage of alot of my preparation as an MP on the job each of the time. the most important distinction is that I now no longer implement defense force regulation. Bit different calls are a similar, drunks, dui, robbery, and attack. you may favor to be an E-4 earlier you may develop into an MP, yet refer to a recruiter and note what they recommend. I imagine many stuff have replaced considering that i replaced into an MP.

I just returned from LA, but I have been there many times in the past. I do not know why ANYONE would want to live there. And, california in general.

We went to see my brother-in-law. 2 hour commute to and from work, after an 8 hour day...horrible traffic, smog (or smug, as I call it), dirty beaches, homeless crazy people everywhere, rent is through the roof high...

I understand why the liberals have the position that they do about the haves/have-nots...In california, there is a much bigger distinction in the classes than where I am from, and where I have been. It is horrible in california...rich, or bum...not much in between.

I have some better advice for you..Having lived in that s**t hole of a state for 10 years, I advise you to get out while you can.In another 4 or 5 years the only part of Calif that will be americans, is Hollywood and that place is full of kooks also. So you need to leave.

Pfft, what should you do? that's easy..

Throw away your birth certificate, throw out your social security # card, throw out your ID...

wander into an immigrant facility run by the state (im sure they are there, knowing california) in rugged clothes, claim to be an illegal from Mexico "just trying to support your family"...

get free healthcare, free welfare checks, a special taxfree income, a house without property taxes, job that feels like it OWES you, and all kind of other special treatments!!

That's why you're back.

I say sign up for the military. It'll give you perspective.

Being a movie star will lead you back into the restaurant industry, unless you're really good at it and get lucky.

I think you should find something that interests you...not something that other californians do. Just because you live in california doesn't mean you have to change who you are as a person to conform to everybody else.
