I have just booked my driving test for next friday but just realised that I have not yet updated dvla with my new address? does this need to be done before i take my test or can i let them know my new address when i send off for my full licence.

HI I'm a driving instructor so know this one!!! No you can fill it in at test centre and change it then just tell examiner you've moved recently they'll tell you where to fill in!! GOOD LUCK

Since it's next friday I wouldn't fill in the part on your licence to change address as it looks slim of getting your new licence back in time. I would wait til you have passed the test Friday. I don't mean to sound negative or bad but if you fail then send off your licence to chnage address.

No you can fill in the counterpart if you pass your test,
It's attached to your provisional license,
If you pass the examiner will take your provisional off you,
Tell your driving instructor before the test just to double check but this is what I did.

No but you have to sign a piece of paper, the examiner will request that you do so.
