Hello,
I have a Windows XP Home Edition computer, I know a lot about computers but I cant figure this out, how do I restart it in Safe Mode? Thanks a lot.

you restart the computer and press F8 before the computer starts up and a list of options of ways to start windows will pop up.

1. Shut down the computer using the start menu.
2. Start the computer up and press F8 while the computer's brand logo is still there.
3. Select safe mode from the list and press enter.
4. You might have to wait a minute or 2 for all of the safe mode files to load. This is normal.

If the computer is running it is best to shut down Windows and then turn off the power.
Begin by first clicking on the Start Button and then click on Turn Off Computer.
Now click on the Turn Off red colored icon to shut down your computer system.
It is best to wait between 15 to 30 seconds before you turn your system back on.

RESTART KEEP TAPPING the F8 with new computers you only have to tap the F8 once as it is on the screen on start up

when it first starts up with that black screen hit F2 and that will bring you to a setup menu and then you can adjust the various settings with safe mode and etc..etc...

start your pc again and keep pressing F8 and you'll get a list of options and i think you can follow it up from there
