download a free software called media player classic and/or vlcplayer they are both excellent will play anything as they have most of the common video codecs within them. i use both. just do a simple search on yahoo search u should not have a prob on where to download them

You need to download and install Media Player Classic from here:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm
You can play the DVD once you have this installed. If you continue to have problems, use the same site above to find a complete codec install pack for your version of Windows. The one that I commonly use does not support Windows ME unfortunately....

go to yahoo search and look for dvd codec packs once on a site just click download. Also try to update or upgrade your media player to version 11. this should be free dont grt conned by some sites that will charge for a codec pack

Go to the windows upgrade sight and see if there is a more recent version of media player. The upgrade sight should already be in your windows programs.

if you install nero it will install the necessary codecs for dvd's to play in media player
