Im going to an 18th bday party and its themed film
i dont want to go over the top as i dont really know that many people there.
i dont mind if its a group character such as charlie angels
but i despretly need some help!!

I would pick one of your favorite movies/characters that kinda would fit your body type or comfort level & go with that. At least if someone asks why you chose that person it wouldn't just be because you thought it would be cool. ^_^
Personally I'd go as Satine from Moulin Rouge...ooohhh that would be awesome. :D or maybe the "horse" from Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail! You could carry around coconuts! ROFL. lol.

You could get some really garish, patterned pyjamas and then go as Bridget Jones. You'd have to drunkenly sing All By Myself at some point during the party but that could help break the ice!

Maybe Captain Jack Sparrow. Or a charactor from Lord of the Rings. You could do Chronicles of Narnia. Or King Kong though that is probably a little over the top. Be creative.

Go as Aubry Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's. All you need is a black dress, heels, fake pearls (or real ones if u hav them) and a cigarette case (optional) another option is to have white gloves (up to your elbows) and a Trench Coat. Make sure to wear your hair in the same style. Google it. Type in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and click on images. Voila!! The perfect outfit.

you could do a cute female charlie chaplain,thatd be pretty easy.or a glam girl like marilyn monroe.or do titanic.i'd do someone easy to recognize,yet interesting so it'd be a good conversation starter.dont do a group thing if you don't have the other girls in the group.

Wear you regular clothers, a blond wig, slap on blue vest, and a name tag. You can say you're Jessica Simpson from Employee of the Month'. You might want stuff your bra too (if necessary).

You could wear pajamas as there are several old movies, "Pajama Game" Doris Day/John Raitt(Bonnie Raitt's dad ), and "Pajama Party" - Annette and Frankie.
