Geckos belong in Madagascar. I know why
laws governing, or banning commerce in
exotic animals, are virtually non-existent
in the United States. But I will never tell.
It's a secret.

I raised the humidity in my tanks by purchasing a humidifier that also puts clean air in the tank too. The tricky part is that you have to cover the top and still keep the lights on. I bought a cheap shower curtain liner, cut it to fit the top of the tank and cut out a place for the light. Because of the humidifier and the warmth of the light it got much more humid from 40 to about 75%. Just be careful of the heat near the shower curtain. I used some tin foil around the light so that it touched that instead of the plastic.

Look at how well ventilated the tank is, if you have a screen top trying useing some card board to cover up the mesh screen and keep the humidity in.

Another solution can be a water dish near/under the heat source. Keep it filled, it may raise the humidity about 5%-10%.

Keep misting the tank daily, that will help keep humidity up.

Look into diffrent substrates the gecko can use and try to find one that holds moisture well. The biggest issue with a wet substrate however is mold/fungus growth.

you could get a humidifer or just take a spray bottle and spray some of the cage once or twice a day.
