not vista

i have seen the driver download page for the exact model and the 4 files they do offer are of no use. So far HP only has Vista drivers. I was told by HP support that I would have to get drivers from the manufacture of each component. Downgrading to XP voids the warranty of their software.

I got the same laptop. The problem with hp's webstie when you type the model number, you don't get much. So you have to do dv9000 and it will be the dv9000 cto and it will have everything for the dv9000 series. Then just download what you need. To save you time here is the link.

Update: If you still want to put xp on your laptop, than just go to that link to get the drivers. I was doing the samething on my wifes laptop and thats what hp said about the warranty, she wanted me to take off vista and put xp. I had a problem so i called hp and they said they wont support xp. However, you can always restore vista back on to the laptop. Hp customer support is retarded.
