I once saw a turquoise moon. I was standing by a river. Lovely.

Any meanings anyone? Scientific, spiritual or cultural.

well.. the turquoise is only because of the reflection of the suns light shining THROUGH the moon, it lightens it so much that when you look at it, it looks as though it is emitting a blue-turquoise haze, when its not. no meanings, just pretty visions.

cool, i have never seen turquiose on the moon, although i have seen a pale shade of green, i have also seen soft colors of yellow, orange, red, grey. i think alot of it has to do with atmospheric effects. perhaps there were some high elevation clouds but a very thin layer that your eyes couldnt see but refracted the light coming from the moon such a way as to make it appear turquiose. if you ask me you are lucky! the red and orange colors ive seen come from when the moon is eclipsed by the earth. very beautiful sight as well!!!!

All colours are reflected in the white light.

however
I have seen a blue moon
I have seen a blood red moon
I have seen a golden moon.

the colours are caused by what is in the earth atmosphere.

e.g. a bushfire caused the red moon

likewise, what is in the atmosphere of your mind?
