i didnt read it yet but i read the summary and i was SO DISSAPPOINTED!!! i heard edward wasnt in it alot and i loved him so much. i cant read that book without edward in it he was the whole reason i loved twighlight so much! anyone know the sumary of Eclipse? i wanna know if edward is in it. cuz i cant bear the fact that he isnt in new moon. its crazy.

Why be disappointed with something you haven't even read for yourself? Yes, he's gone for two/thirds of the novel. But it's all good. It ends well. It is better for the story--better for the plot that he is gone. It would have bordered on boring and stagnant to have everything be all perfect and happy and la la la. To have Bella and Edward be together with no problems, no conficts, no friction, no action, just every day wake up and go to school and gaze at each other....what kind of adventure would that have been??? There needs to be bad guys. There needs to be conflict. There needs to be something going on other than happy oblivion. The book is a test of their love. The fact that they spend time apart, miss each other, need each other, and find their way back to one another speaks to the power of their love. How sad if you miss this book simply because of the fact that you think you won't like it.

Trust me when I say that you really want to read New Moon. There isn't so much Edward in that book, but Stephanie Meyer really brings Jacob Black out, and also when Edward does come in ( he's in i think the first 2 chapters and they maybe the last 3 or 4?) in the end, what he says was really shocking. Anyways read it even though its not as good as Twilight, because I was also very devistated when I found out Edward was barely gonna be in this book.

I feel exactly the same way! by the end of the book im like bored because edward wasnt in it and i was scared he was going to actually kill himself!but it got better when bella has to a vamp turn in a vampire, but i just got my hopes up. i cant wait till eclipse comes out in august

It does suck. You're suffering from missing Eddy with Bella while you read. Actually made me pretty sad for a few days, But dont worry! He's in there plenty near the end of the book and makes up for it. :)
