This is for biology- apparently using a Punnett square helps solve the problem.

male = Bb female = bb

50% will be black and 50% will be white with this genotype combination. Your teacher wants you to think this is wrong since it is 6 and 5, but not all deer have an even number of children.

White is usually the recessive phenotype.

Brown = B
White = b

If Buck was BB, and Doe was bb, all children would be Bb (Brown)

If Buck was Bb, and Doe was bb, half would be brown and half would be white.

All you would need to see is one white child and you would know the Buck is Bb.
