I got the IUD on Jan 31st, 2 months after the birth of my son. I have had my period since. I have cramps and spotting continuously. When should it stop. I want to feel NORMAL!

Spotting and cramping are not that unusual with the Mirena, and in most cases they are gone by three months, so, say the end of April. You can always talk to your doctor if they're severe... some women just aren't happy with IUDs.

The rhythm method is nonsense. All you do is avoid sex 14 days before your period is about to start. It's pretty much the only b.c. allowed by the Catholic church, and is a big reason why devout Catholics tend to have large families.

Natural fertility awareness, which is sort of like the rhythm method in that you avoid sex (or use condoms) around the time of ovulation, is quite a bit better. When it's done properly, it's quite effective (comparable to condoms) but it is a big hassle, requiring daily temperature monitoring, cervical mucus checks, and strict attention to the calendar.

You should go see a doctor because that not normal. I had mine for 3 years and that didnt happen to me.

the symptoms you are having are normal for the type of birth control your using. shoud've tried the rythmn method
