I was suspended for a total of about 17 days this school year. We're now in the 26 or 7th week of school. My principal won't let me play tennis, be in marching band, or be in jazz band. Is that legal? I was suspended three times for tobacco possesion on school property, once for swaring in school, and once for being drunk during jazz band. I wasn't really drunk, the reason they found out is because a couple kids I drank with broke in the school and the school had it on tape. I wasn't drinking on school property.

Perfectly legal. You violated school rules (repeatedly) and therefore are not entitled to extracurricular activity privileges.

It's called logical consequences for your actions.

Hate to say it yea it's legal. If I were you I'd try to explain the situation to the principal and try reasoning with him. If that doesn't work try getting all the jazz band kids to not come to rehersals until you're let in. I donno if that'd work, but it's worth a shot.
