I'll have a better perspective on what to think after my 30-something year-old nephew --who's half Iranian-- returns from his 3-week visit (for the first time in his life) accompanied with his dad's wife (who speaks the language...he knows none)

My uneducated opinion is that things have mellowed out since Ayatollah Khomeini was in power (when my sister--then married to--and his dad had to flee) because its leaders aren't wearing all black with the head-wraps.

I watched the interview of President Ahmadinejad on 60 Minutes a few months back and found myself agreeing with him on more points than I do George Bush. I think Bush is the worst president ever and his kind make me ashamed and embarrassed to be a US Citizen despite the fact I am proud to be American.

I think the Muslim world has to accept Israel is there to stay but I feel the US Gov't must stop ignoring and accepting her human rights violations against Palestinians.

I'm confident the Iranian people don't want war with the US anymore than the American people want war with Iran but with a war-mongering zealot who serves the special corporate interests who help install him in the White House, we all have to keep praying he can be held at bay until 20 Jan 09.

The whole concept of eliminating the Jews then the Hindus and the Christians as stated by that nut who is the national mouthpiece...Mr. "A" is absurd! The army actually does the "goose step" when they march! So did Hitler's troops. And to say that the Holocaust never happened is totally ludicrous! You can't deny history. What is this fool trying to do? What is his motive? It makes no sense! Politicians can wrangle all they want. I am just a common human being who tries to survive in a violent world and I'm sure the common human being in your country wants to do the same. It's unfortunate that misguided people like Bush or Mr. "A" (I call him that because I don't have the correct spelling for his name) have to lead their countries into something that the average peace-loving person on the street does't want.

Look, I'm not a hater, and I have nothing against anyone, and the only thing about the middle east is that bush got us into a war we shouldn't be in, and bush lied to get us there, iraq near your hometown, iran, I have no qualms with anyone in this world because god tells me that I'm no one special to be thinking I'm better than bush, I'm not, but bush and his administation are doing some things I'm glad I don't fully know about, so, people are people and just because you are from Iran I think you're cool except for terrorists, you aren't one so you're okay.

I have nothing against the people of Iran. The president seems to be a madman. He claims that the jews were never hurt by Hitler. He is a madman, the extermination of millions of jews by Hitler is proven.
