Hmmm I bet this is my husband writing this question...
I have a large bathroom. I take up all 3 drawers and the cabinet under my sink and my medicine cabinet PLUS the coffee bar area which is a counter with a drawer and another cabinet. My husband gets one cabinet under his sink that is shared with cleaning supplies and his medicine cabinet, often shared with lotions like calimine and first aid neosporin. I have all these drawers and cabinets to keep my blowdryers and curling irons out of sight. With my assorted brushes and combs I keep in the drawers. I would suggest getting her some stackable bins or storage units where she can keep her things neatley so they can stay organized and give you more room. Honestly..how much room can a shaving kit and toothbrush need? Your blessed to have a wife that takes pride in keeping up her appearance for herself and you. Alot give up after marriage. I think your whining.

Actually my husband's crap takes up more space than mine - lol
Okay... try this:
She has one side of the medicine cabinet and you have the other side... end of discussion.
If there are drawers, divide them equally.
If there is a cabinet beneath, that's where the overflow goes, or things get hung on the wall up off the surface where they're in the way.
My blowdryer, curling iron, etc are all under the sink... my husband's electric shaver that has to recharge is the biggest thing left out on the counter and I unplug it when I need to plug in my stuff.
Try getting her a stand alone cabinet for her crap if need be... and offer to help her organize things so they're not all out on the counter. If it's a larger bathroom, it should hold more storage devices.
Good luck!

Yeah we do tend you hog the bathroom a bit, but you should at least have one drawer for yourself!! Maybe you should take the liberty of tidying the bathroom yourself and making sure you have you own space, then explaining to your wife that you tidyed the bathroom, and to keep it that way. Having electical item around all the time is also a saftey hazard especially if there are children around..

It doesn't sound quite fair - you're certainly entitled to have some of your own crap in the bathroom as well.
Ask wife to give you some space - can she have space in a closet for some of her things, or maybe there's a storage container or shelves that can be built into the bathroom for extra things?

Yes, it's the same at my house. I'd suggest expressing that, though you don't need much counter space, you do need a little, and if she's not going to give you some, you're going to start to stink and end up unshaven and rough looking. That only leads to unemployment. Perhaps that line of reasoning will work....

They have these little pockets that hang behind the door. Get her some of these to put her hair stuff in. They also make little plastic shelves that stack on to of each other that you can put under the sink. It makes a lot more room

Just ask her if there is something that you do that bothers her. Then, you can tell her what bothers you.
Make it a game. Don't get too serious, the best marriages work with a sense of humor, sounds like you have that goin already.
