I used to watch the news all the time when I was studying for my modern studies exam at school because we needed to be up to date with current news. However I have not watched the news since september apart from the odd time I have been home, at christmas because I stay in university halls and lets just say not many people watch the news, and there is only one t.v for all 70 of us (we are basically in a massive house)- however I do keep up to date with things that are happening in the news by using the internet.

I rarely watch the news anymore. It's very depressing always hearing about the war, crime and everything in between. I get any news I need from Yahoo. I only look at the most important stuff online only. I definitely haven't stopped watching T.V. all together..too many favorite shows.

I don't blame you not watching the American news. It only covers American stories and, if there are interviews with Bush, they always let him off the hook and never ask the tough questions.

American newscasters all seem to have the same voice too, like they've practiced it for years to get that monotone down pat.

You should tune in to Sky News, if you can. Much better.

I never watch the news. It is too depressing. If I need to know something, and it is important enough, I will find it out.
