handset manager for Razr isint working keeps saying"trying to connect to handset"What did I do wrong?Help Plz

I got a headset manager from RadioShack which says its compatible with Razr V3 and just as usual it doesnt do my way.Its all hooked up but keeps diaplaying a message at the bottom"trying to connect to handset.THIS ******* SUCKS!!!Nothing good ever happens to me.What is going on?Thank You
