The clumpy white discharge definitely sounds like a yeast infection. There are over the counter treatments such as monistat that will clear it up quickly. I suggest you tell your mom about it though. She has probably had them before and can take you to get the medicine and talk you thru the whole situation. She can also help you make sure that is what the problem is. Talk to her, don't be embarrassed.

Could be a yeast infecion... they don't ALWAYS smell bad.. mine never do and I don't get itching or burning(and yes it was diagnosed as one). You probably need to talk to your mom about getting to the gyno. A yeast infection can get worse causeing other issues, and you want to make sure that is exactly what it is... I don't suggest over the counter until you learn what your body does exactly with a yeast infection. You may be able to ask the doctor to skip the Rx and get over the counter instead (depends on how bad it is). But a yeast infection is something that happens with just about every woman... your mom should understand this.. if you REALLY don't want to go there, ask another trusted adult to take you. There is the possiblility that you are getting ready to start your period, I have had the aching as well on occasion. Discharge sometimes gets thicker close to a period. Cottage cheese is how a yeast infection is most commonly described as, but as with the other symptoms I never got that either.... just depends on your body. Either way... it is time for a gyno visit!

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMETT
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

The consistency is the key. There should be no adverse odor accompanying a yeast infection. The big factors for diagnosis are typically thick clumpy discharge, redness & possible light bleeding from the skin and severe itching in the vulvar area.
You should have your first yeast infection diagnosed by a doctor to make sure it's not something else. They will most likely prescribe you a vaginal medicine that will help in 3-5 days.

From what you described, yes it's a yeast infection. Do you have PMS? I sometimes get yeast infections when I have PMS. That's because your hormones can get kind of wacky when you have PMS. I've waited it out a few times and the yeast infection goes away when I get my period. But, if it hurts really really bad, then you need to treat it. You can buy Monistat at any store that sells feminine hygiene products. Just follow the instructions in the box. If you don't feel better after the medicine is gone, you're going to have to go to a doctor.

FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO IS COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR MOTHER. HAVING A YEAST INFECTION IN NORMAL.GETTING A YEAST INFECTION IS NORMAL. THEIR ARE SEVERAL CAUSES WHY YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN A YEAST INFECTION. TOO MUCH MOISTURE. YOU HAVE TO LET DOWN THERE BREATH. GIVE IT SOME AIR. WEARING NO PANTIES AT NIGHT HELPS. A LOT. DRINKING MORE WATER. YOGURT. COTTON ONLY PANTIES. OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATIONS WORK . GOING TO THE DOCTOR IS BETTER. IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL A LOT BETTER. AND. YOU CAN FIND OUT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM AND SOLVE IT WITH THE DOCTOR'S ASSURANCE.

Sounds like a yeast infection to me! Sorry! Why don't you want to tell your mom? You can go to your local drugstore and get over the counter medicine or you can go to your doctor and get a pill. You still may need to go get some cream if you are itching

Does it itch like crazy? If so it just might be a YI. But, the only way to know for sure to have a Doc look at you. Is there a Planned Parenthood you could go to? I don't know if the the rules have changed but I know when I was younger we were able to just walk in and get checked whether our parents were there or not. My brother was always there with his girlfriend and we were still in high school. See if you could go. If not, you might a tell ur mom.
