I heard a country song on the radio yesterday and I dont know who sings it or the name. It was by a female singing about her mother who was never there for her and her brown eyes were the only thing she left her. also the mom lived in california and she lived in carolina. anyone know???

i'm pretty sure it's the new carrie underwood but i don't know the name.
edit- i goofed. m&m is right. kelly pickler did it on idol. sorry
