My parents have wanting grandchildren for years now...they are going to flip a lid. Does anyone want to share ideas on how to tell the family the good news?

I have always wanted to buy presents for the people to tell. Such as baby clothes or shoes, so when they open it they'll know.

sorry didnt look to see where in the world you are but its mothers day in the UK on sunday, and i have written the big news in my mums card,
she has NO idea!
we also thought about buying a baby frame and printing out a little slip to put inside it saying "to be filled with a picture of your new grandchild due early november"

I took a picture of my positive pregnancy test and emailed it out to my and hubby's parents. Since they don't see that everyday, it took them a bit to get what I was doing (I set it up like it was a riddle). The phone started ringing off the hook after that. :)

Send them a post card. Its a little shady but it will be a GREAT surprise for them to go to the mail box and get the news.

make copy of the dvd you get from the ultrsound and put on cover or a case of a movie they love then invite them over or be the oned to go over their place.. complete with popcorn.. and the works.. then watch it on TV with the lights off...

get some little baby diapers and fill them with mustard and give them to your folks and tell they need to get used to feel of a full baby diaper sick huh? funny tho you could also have them over for dinner and serve pickles and ice cream

I can give you the idea that I'm going to use...
Have a copy of your first ultrasound framed and give it to them at a nice dinner.
