Howzit!!!
You can start by learning HTML. I know it has nothing to do with your programming dreams but its the easiest language that is error tollerent. It is not strict when it comes to sytax. You can play around with then once you have core knowledge you can move to JavaScript.
JavaScript allows you to customise or enhance HTML pages. Once you know your wat you can move to easier languages such as Visual Basic.NET and Delphi...
If you know what you are doing you can move to the king languages such as C++, Java, C# etc.
NB: Maybe you might find some of the programming languages that I said are easy difficult... In this case you can research and choose one or two languages you want to focus on so you don't confuse your self..
Programming books are available in most book stores but you have to know what language you want to learn:
Free study material here::

To program you need a program called a compiler. It is a program you use to code, debug and execute programs. If you buy a book you more likely to get a free compiler but if you download the study materials then you will have to buy or download it from the net...
Good luck and if you need anything send me a message and we'll take off from there!!
Off to the Suid Koast!!!

You might be 15 but I know that there are many cheap community college courses available. They might not teach you everything you need to know but you could take a few courses. I'm not sure about Puerto Rico, but in my state we have a program called head start that lets high school students take college courses.
I would recommend taking Visual Basic as a beginner course since it's by far the easiest language to program in. C++ is what I normally use because it's what we all use at work, but for learning the basic concepts, loops, file i/o, user input, saving files, etc. It's a good place to start.
Then when you are able to grasp those concepts take a few C++ courses. You'll be able to learn them easier with a little programming already under your belt.
Also with Microsofts academic alliance you can download visual studios for free. Check with a local college.

Hey, I'm currently in my third year of college for computer programming so for you I would suggest investing about $45 in the book 'The C programmin language" by Brian Kernighan/ Dennis Ritchie. K and R wrote the original C language so they know pretty much everything there is to know about C. That being said you might have a little trouble understanding the lingo used in the book but for this, Wikipedia should be able to fill in the blanks. You may have a little trouble actually writing programs with C especially if you are running Windows. There are free compilers that can run in windows but they tend to be sort of user-unfriendly. If your serious about computer programming then I would suggest looking around for Computer Science schools if your interested in video game programming. If your interested in programming for business applications then a database administration degree would be more suitable, if your interested in just general programming and don't know what facet you want to go into then there is an abundance of computer programming degree programs out there. So just choose a place you like and hit the books.
Good luck, and I hope this helps.

My recommendation would be to begin with Java. It is highly portable, strongly typed, and used heavily in industry. Java is also great for object-oriented programming and provides many measures to protect a programmer and system from common bugs, such as memory leaks.
If you prefer a different mentality to programming, you could try to learn ML which is a mostly functional (i.e. no side-effects) language with parametized types, strong use of recursion and pattern matching, and all the other good stuff computer science folks like!

well, first you have to be comfortable with computers.play around with them and learn about what everything does. if you need to re-format a computer, go to http://helpdesk.its.uiowa.edu/windows/instructions/reformat.htm
and it takes you through it step-by step..good luck;-)
