Need school mom help!!!?

Question

I just got a C- on my report card today for the first time ever!

My mom says that she would kill me if I got a C, and when she gets mad she throws cups and stuff at me.

What should I do?

Should I tell her the truth and give it to her, or should I find someway to fake my grade?

(If you think I should cheat, please tell me some ways how.)

You definitely need to tell her the truth and get it over with. A lie would make it even worse. The question is why you got the C-? I can tell you that I was a great student, but got a D in Algebra (the teacher said she would have failed me but she knew my parents would kill me). I worked really hard, but never figured it out. I went to the teacher, and asked her to call my parents to tell them that I really was trying my best so that they wouldn't kill me. I even cried. I'm not telling you this to suggest that you fake it, but having the teacher tell your Mom that you really are trying should help a lot.

If you're not trying hard, then figure that you earned some yelling and punishment as a trade-off for the coasting you did to earn the C-. It's pay-back time. Tell your Mom you're going to be honest and accept the consequences, but also tell her that you have a plan to fix this. Give up tv (or whatever) until your grade is a C+, and give up something else until your grade is a B. Tell her you'll report your grades to her right along from now on until they're back where they belong. (And cry, because you feel so bad?).

I'm an awful Mom, cause I'm telling you what works with me. I start out mad, and then end up feeling so sorry for my kids that I end up comforting them over a bad grade (and sometimes I know they really didn't try hard, but the fact that they figured out a plan to bring the grade up is at least a step in the right direction). You might have to suck u some yelling, but hey -- figure that you earned it, and now you have to earn your way out of it.

I wouldn't fake your grade-imagine what would happen if your Mom found out you faked your grade!!
Can someone be with you when you give her your report card? Maybe she wouldn't be so quick to throw a temper tantrum with a witness to see it.
I don't know how old you are, but what she is doing is wrong. It's one thing to discipline a child, but quite another to abuse them I would suggest talking to a guidance counselor or a trusted adult. It sounds like your mother needs help with her anger.
Good luck-a C- isn't the end of the world.
