That is one I have been working on for years. He comes to me every time the next person who has "swept him off his feet" actually becomes human to him. It rips my heart out every time, even though I pretend it doesn't. But, I just can't do it anymore and neither should you (although I know that is easier said than done). No one has the right to play with your heart.
Just believe that karma does work and (hopefully) someone will teach them how that feels someday. But, we will be long gone and in a happier, healthier place by then :)

I wish I knew....My heart breaks every day for a guy who just isn't good for me. I mean, he never hurt me but he was bad for my health....bad habbits. Whatever good luck to you. My guess is time will heal. It has been 5 months for me and I am still not over him...I am even with someone new and try not to think about the ex but.....sob.....take care

Forgive this person first & foremost, regardless of what they have done because without forgiveness you can't move on. Once you forgive, ask God to release this person from your heart & mind.
