not very long. i am a tried and true republican but i am disgusted with president bush. he has allowed us to be invaded on the mexican border with illegals, who knows who or from where, weapons, drugs, and gang members. we are going to hell in a hand basket. we have not protected our industry from being overtaken by foreign imports. the clowns who have said they are running for president are a joke and i am sadly afraid that there will be no true leadership to come around when its time to elect a president. just my opinion!

Well...I agree with John Edwards when he talks about the "two Americas" so I think that for many of us, we are already a 3rd world nation, while for the top 10% of wage earners in this country, it is very good...especially if you are on the board of a major oil company. With home prices climbing to around 450,000 in my area and wages staying stagnant, definitely 3rd world nation is here for many of us.
